Hi Nike Vets,

I'm planning, with JP Moore's help, a Nike reunion for October of 2004, which will tour the White Sands Missile Range and we would stay at the Hilton in Las Cruces, NM. Room rates are $60. per room, per night, single or double, plus taxes. The attendee's will be responsible for making their own reservations by calling 505-522-4300 or 800-HILTONS(445-8667) and requesting the Red Canyon Range Reunion. The cutoff date for reservations is October 3, 2004.

You will also be responsible for all your own meals, including the banquet, which will run about $20. to $25. per person, which will be collected before the reunion. Anyone wanting to stay at an RV Park should contact the Siesta RV Park at 800-414-6816 or 505-523-6816, which is only a few minutes from the hotel.

The tentative schedule is:
Oct. 17 (Sun) Check in day, after 2:00 P.M., everyone get together in hospitality room
Oct. 18 (Mon) Tour day at White Sands. Long tour to Trinity Site, Red Canyon, etc. This tour, by bus, could last all day, 12-14 hours There will be a place to get lunch on this tour
Oct. 19 (Tue) Free day, or could be used to replace the Monday tour day if we get bumped from our scheduled Monday tour because of a missile firing
Oct. 20 (Wed) Tour day at the White Sands base, probably about 3-4 hours There is a place to eat lunch on the base, as well as a Museum Closing banquet that night from 6 to 10 at the hotel
Oct. 21 (Thu) Departure day

This is a 2nd notice to see how many are interested in attending the reunion. I will send out the meal schedule & cost sheets around June
