Analog Computer - Battery Control Officer's View

These scopes displayed data from the two "acquisition" radars.

The large plotting board showed the top view 200 miles diameter. It had two plotting pens. One showed the position of the plane being tracked by the Target Tracking Radar, the other showed

  • (before launch) - The predicted intercept point if the missile was fired now.
  • (after launch) - The position of the flying Nike missile
The smaller "altitude" plotting board (to the right) also has two pens. Both displayed time to intercept on the "x" (horizontal) axis. The left pen showed the target altitude and the right pen showed
  • (before launch) - the altitude of the predicted intercept point.
  • (after launch) - the altitude of the missile
