- Engine in pictures is a 2 HP (if 21” flywheels) Fairbank Morse. These are a throttle governed engine with throttle rod going to carb. We have an intake spring for this model HM189 $4.50. We also offer the spring retainer. If you call our hours are 9AM-5PM EST weekdays. Good Luck-Ed"
- I ordered the intake valve spring, retainer and manual for (hopefully) this engine April 12. Arrived.

| So, I bought the required parts, and installed them on the stem of the input valve.
Does't that look a lot better :-)) A clean up, lub, water and gas, and "away we go ;-))" Well, maybe fix the spark killer near the spark plug ;-)) |

# 15, John Deere Engine Model “E”
From "Hit-N-Miss", May 2012,
"This is a model “E”. It probably will take $500 to replace the mag, gear, and c/c cover plate (covers hole were gear goes into c/c). We can’t help with a mag at this time but Mark’s Mag may be able to help 860-537-0376. We’ll send you the operator/parts manual."
